Ash and Agave Introduces $29 Wood-Grilled Lobster Special and Expands Agave-focused Happy Hour
Lobster Fuego and New Weekday Food and Drink Offerings Bring a Fire-kissed Coastal Experience to Cherry Creek
DENVER, CO (June 8, 2026) – Ash and Agave, the vibrant Mexican Riviera-inspired concept from Shucking Good Hospitality, launched Lobster Fuego, a $29 weekly special available every Monday for lunch and dinner. Alongside the new feature, the Cherry Creek restaurant is also expanding its fire-driven, agave-forward menu with fresh weekday food and drink offerings.
Lobster Fuego draws inspiration from the famed coastal village of Puerto Nuevo in Baja California, long celebrated as the “Lobster Capital of Mexico.” For decades, the destination has been known for its abundance of freshly caught lobster, traditionally served wood-fired or pan-fried alongside rice, beans, and warm handmade tortillas. Its simple yet iconic approach to coastal dining has made it a beloved culinary landmark.
That same spirit carries into Ash and Agave’s version, where a wood-grilled lobster tail is paired with drawn butter, charro beans, verde rice, and fresh flour tortillas, reinterpreting a classic Baja experience through the restaurant’s fire-driven lens. Lobster Fuego is a nod to Lobster Riot at SGH’s own Blue Island Oyster Bar, a fan-favorite special known for bringing fresh, high-quality lobster to Denver diners at an approachable price point.
To complement the new Monday offering, Ash and Agave also introduces a selection of Margarita Specials and Fire-Kissed Bites. The margaritas include Watermelon, Ancho Chile-Tamarindo, and Vanilla-Pineapple, built around distinct agave expressions. Guests can pair it with the new Fire-Kissed Bites menu, which spans Toasted Coconut and Agave-Glazed Shrimp, Lamb Lollipops, and Surf & Turf Nachos topped with grilled skirt steak and Maine lobster.
"Lobster Fuego is the kind of dish that makes you plan your week around it," said Sean Huggard, Founder and President of Shucking Good Hospitality. "It is wood-fired, it is coastal, it is everything Ash and Agave was designed to deliver. We wanted to give guests a real destination moment on a Monday, and at $29, it is something genuinely special without the occasion needing to be."
Alongside Lobster Fuego, Ash and Agave is expanding its weekday Happy Hour available Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. starting Wednesday, June 10. The updated program brings more ways to experience the restaurant's full agave lineup, from approachable afternoon margaritas to premium two-ounce pours of some of Mexico's most celebrated spirits.
The margarita options include The Standard Marg at $10 (or $49 for a full pitcher), a Toasted Coconut Marg, and a rotating seasonal Fruit Marg, both at $11. For guests looking to explore more of the agave program, two-ounce pours of extra-premium spirits, including Clase Azul Reposado, Patrón El Alto, and Código Extra Añejo, are available. Wine is offered at 30% off by the glass, while draft cervezas include Modelo Especial at $5 and Crank Yanker IPA at $6.
A lineup of $12 specialty cocktails expands the Happy Hour offerings, including the Golden Hour made with Grey Goose L’Orange vodka, Aperol, citrus, soda, and tajín; the Espresso Martini with Patrón XO Café, espresso, and Skyy vodka; and the Pina Brava with Hornitos pineapple tequila, Amaro Averna, local honey, and lime.
On the food side, new Street tacos are available for $9 per plate with Beef Picadillo, Carnitas, and Charred Chicken Thigh. Additional highlights include Seafood Ceviche Tostada ($7), Wood-Grilled Oysters ($11), Chicken Taquitos ($7), Chilled Queso Dip and Chips ($9), Birria Bites ($8), Golden Hour Nachos ($13), and the El Burger ($15) featuring grass-fed beef, roasted poblano, caramelized onion, queso Oaxaca, and macha aioli, and more.
“Everyone’s doing their version of a burger these days,” said Huggard. “For us, it was important to take something familiar and make it feel unmistakably Ash and Agave, built on fire, layered with bold flavor, and still approachable. The El Burger brings that balance: grass-fed beef, roasted poblano, caramelized onion, queso Oaxaca, and macha aioli working together in a way that’s rich, a little smoky, and straightforward.”
