Ash and Agave Brings Día de los Muertos Fiesta to Cherry Creek
Premium Tequila Tastings, Mini Cocktails, Live Mariachi, and Face Painting Fill the Mexican Riviera-Inspired Restaurant on October 29
DENVER, CO (October 19, 2026) – Ash and Agave, the vibrant Mexican Riviera-inspired concept from local restaurant group Shucking Good Hospitality (SGH), transforms its Cherry Creek dining room for a Día de los Muertos event on Thursday, October 29. The evening features tequila tastings, passed bites and food stations from the wood-fired kitchen, cocktails, a live mariachi performance, and Día de los Muertos-inspired experiences, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the Colorado Youth Mariachi Program.
Celebrated across Mexico on November 1 and 2, Día de los Muertos is a colorful, joyful tradition built around honoring loved ones with music, food, and time together. Ash and Agave brings that spirit to Cherry Creek with an evening centered around food, tequila, music, and gathering with friends.
“We are inspired by the celebration of Día de los Muertos, which is about bringing people together and celebrating the people who matter to you. That’s what we’re all about at Ash and Agave,” said Sean Huggard, Founder and President of Shucking Good Hospitality. “Tequila is a big part of what we do, so we wanted to have some fun with it, bring in some of our favorite brands and pair each one with a mini cocktail. Add great food, music and a little Día de los Muertos flair, and you’ve got a pretty good night. Come hungry and plan to hang out for a while.”
Throughout the evening, guests will make their way through more than six tequila tasting experiences featuring Código 1530, Tequila Ocho, Lunazul, Cantera Negra, and Espolòn, with each tequila paired with a featured mini cocktail. The experience builds on Ash and Agave’s agave-forward program, which features an extensive selection of tequila and mezcal, curated Agave Flights, and premium pours including Código Extra Añejo.
The evening’s bites and entertainment bring the spirit of Día de los Muertos to life, with Ash and Agave’s signature wood-fired flavors served throughout the night. Guests can enjoy Birria Bites, Ceviche Shooters, a Mexican charcuterie station, Carnitas and Guacamole Tostadas, and more. A DJ will keep the Latin rhythms going throughout the night, while guests can also take part in Día de los Muertos face painting and enjoy a few additional surprises along the way.
A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit The Colorado Youth Mariachi Program, which provides mariachi education for young people through classes, performances and community events, with a mission to inspire youth through music and the rich cultural traditions of mariachi. The evening will also include a performance by the program’s students from 7-7:20 p.m.
Tickets are available at $80 per person, including gratuity. The event is 21+ only, and tickets are limited. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit ashagave.com/dia-de-los-muertos.
